The Meteorological Department's Santacruz station in the suburbs recorded a minimum temperature of 12.1 degrees Celsius against Sunday's minimum of 10.2 degrees Celsius, the lowest in over four decades. Mumbai, known for its hot and humid weather, has been witnessing lower than usual temperatures.
